  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.

Userspace limits

Hi. I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. Please don't do it any more, though. Bulbapedia's Userspace policy restricts the amount you can edit your userpage: no more than one edit per day and make sure you contribute to our mainspace more than your userspace. This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our server. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal userpage. Okay...so the problem is that I put too much data (usertags) on my userspace in the 1 edit I made, or is it the fact that I created too many people's talk pages by using {{subst:welcome}}? Thanks, and if I edit anything soon, it'll be in the mainspace. ✖Λeropyre✖ (talk) 17:51, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

Welcoming other users is fine. I warned you because you edited your userspace way too much. You have made 4 userspace edits today, when you are allowed to edit it only once/day. Please be careful and pay attention to the mainspace a bit more, otherwise your userspace editing rights might get revoked temporarily. Also, since you are a new user, I would suggest you to read the welcome template thoroughly, it will help you in understanding Bulbapedia's policies. Thank you, and have a good time contributing! Okay, thanks! BTW, is it possible for you to delete all the content on my userpage? I won't be using my userspace for a long time, since I'll be editing the mainspace, and it would be annoying to delete it one section at a time, since I'm only allowed 3 edits a day.
