Talk page

Everyone can see your talk page and userpage (what you called a profile). It's required to keep constructive messages on a talk page for documentation and so you can easily refer back to them if you, or anyone else ever needs them. ^★Jo the Marten^★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 15:47, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Fair enough, but this policy seems a little bit patronizing in that it labels this Talk page as mine and yet apparently I have no free will to remove messages that I have fully understood and wish to remove for my own reasons... Anaserfrdrews12798 15:54, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

It's not so much yours, like a piece of property; you didn't purchase it. It's yours as it is an easy way for other users to contact you. You can spruce it up and make it unique, but it will always simply be a contact medium between users. ^★Jo the Marten^★ ಠ_ಠ♥ 16:03, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
