By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Link templates

Hello there! I noticed some of your recent edits, and I urge you to please familiarize yourself with our list of link templates. In particular, things like [[Memento]] should never appear on our pages — instead, it should be {{m|Memento}} to avoid a redirect. Thanks for your consideration! Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 20:13, 12 December 2016 (UTC)

Event moves

Please don't add event moves to Pokemon pages for events in past generations. The event moves in a Pokemon's current learnset (on its species page) should only be for events within the current generation. Past event moves can be found on the pages for past generation learnsets, linked at the tops of tables for level up moves and the rest.

User page edits

Hello, I just wanted to let you know that editing other users' user pages is not allowed under Bulbapedia's Userspace policy. Please do not edit any user page other than your own. Xolroc (talk) 14:37, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

Conduct

To add to the above, this kind of edit simply isn't kosher. Please familiarize yourself with our code of conduct and follow it well. If you have an issue with a user, you can always talk to them.

Let's not have any more of that sort of thing please. Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:43, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

To reiterate: follow the code of conduct.
Phrases like "I'll find a way to bury you" are not at all acceptable. Please keep your tone in check or you may be facing a block. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:05, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

Registeel

Please stop re-adding the Roman salute being the basis of the Nazi salute, it's irrelevant to the trivia point which is explaining why it's controversial. The Roman salute is NOT the reason the sprite is controversial.--ForceFire 16:48, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

Final warning on conduct

Passive aggressive comments are highly uncalled for. Please drop the snotty attitude, you are not better than either Xolroc or Pumpkinking and hold no authority over those two. And since this is your third warning about this in such a small time period, this is your final warning. If you cannot be civil around users, then you will face a permanent block.--ForceFire 16:48, 16 January 2017 (UTC)

"each consecutive hit has an equal chance"

I've noticed you adding this to a lot of pages of multi-hit moves. While I think it is a useful bit of information to add, I would like to ask how you obtained the information; if you did all your testing within a single generation of games, it's possible that this mechanic may have changed. See, for example, the way critical hits on such moves work in Generation I; the critical check is performed once, and every hit has the same critical or non-critical status. If it does differ between generations, that information should be added as well. --Felthry (F.K.A. Xolroc) (talk) 16:21, 19 January 2017 (UTC)

Held Items did not exist in Gen I, therefore there is no need for testing in Gen I. The same properties apply for when the user holds a Razor Fang, and since King's Rock has the same in-battle effect, I feel that no testing really needs to be done, since it's already been tested with Razor Fang.
