Signing talk page comments
I'm glad you realize you must sign your talk page comments, but please note that manually typing out links to your user page and talk page are not sufficient. The other important part of a signature is the timestamp, so people can see when the comment was made. All of this is automatically generated by our wiki software when you type ~~~~, which is a lot easier and more accurate than manually typing it every time. If you'd like, you can customize your signature by following the instructions in the Signature policy. Thanks! Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 17:01, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- Huh. I thought I did so. Sorry about that. Let me try again. Collector Togami (talk) 19:20, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, yeah, that worked. By the way, I want to make a new page on Bulba. Who do I talk to for that? Collector Togami (talk) 19:21, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- New Bulbapedia pages are typically created in the user namespace (so for example, the page might be titled "User:Collector Togami/page name here"). You must be autoconfirmed to edit the user namespace, and you should also familiarize yourself with our userspace policy before you begin. Once you've made a page, you can ask a staff member to look at it, and if they approve it, they'll move it into the mainspace. Good luck! Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 20:02, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- I see. So get autoconfirmed first, and then later I can do the page as you said. Thanks for explaining everything. Collector Togami (talk) 20:30, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
