Thank you, and have a good time editing here! |
The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --ForceFire 15:25, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
- Does the Recent Changes get clogged up? Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 16:19, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
- Well, no. That's an outdated reason. The main reason is simply you should make sure your edit is error-free before saving it.--ForceFire 16:27, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

Linking anime character articles
Hey! Whenever you're linking to an anime version of a character who's appeared in multiple forms of Pokémon media, it's important to use the an template, as shown, again for simplicity's sake. For example, Giovanni is the correct usage, not Giovanni. The latter link goes to the game character article. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:29, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, thanks for letting me know. Do we have template desrciption pages? Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 14:11, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
- A list of link templates can be found here: List of link templates.--ForceFire 04:04, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
Linking Pokémon articles
Hey! Whenever you link to a Pokémon article, please use the p template to avoid leaving behind a redirect. For example, Shroomish is the correct usage, not Shroomish. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:29, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hi. What is the difference between the two? Does that mean redirect is a problem? Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 07:34, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
- The second link leaves a redirect, which is problematic. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:50, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
Formatting
When you're linking a move article, it would be much easier, and therefore more preferable, if you used the m template instead. For example, Bullet Seed is the more appropriate usage, not Bullet Seed. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:55, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
- Is Bullet Seed also a redirect? Eastern Goldfinch (talk) 21:56, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
- No. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:57, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
The Preview Button, again
Hey! Please use the preview button to look at your edits before you actually publish them. There was absolutely no need to make three consecutive edits to the Team Rocket's mechas article when only one edit may have sufficed. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:22, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

- You need to use the preview button to make sure your edits will be displayed the way it should be displayed. Your edits made Force Fire's sandbox article look too big, which you wouldn't have missed had you used the preview button. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:56, 13 October 2019 (UTC)
