When linking images, just use [[Image:(image name)]]. The archives are where all of our images are located, and image links here link to images in the archives. If you want to link the image as a link, though, just put a colon before "Image", like so: Typhlosion rules, doesn't it?
You can do the same for categories, too, if you don't want to categorize a page, but merely link a category within it. Believe me, I know, I use it all the time when I'm telling people that they need to use the link templates. --TTEchidna 01:08, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Masatoshitalk 21:17, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

Mind explaining to me what happened there? Those templates shouldn't be edited by anyone, unless there's an explicit approval from the staff. I'm assuming what you did was accidental, but let me tell you that editing high use templates (meaning it's featured in hundreds, even thousands of pages) such as those could cause a big stress to the server. Try to be more careful next time. Masatoshitalk 23:55, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry... what happened is that I was looking at the source as a reference and I guess I accidentally edited it instead. It won't happen again as I'm going to pay more attention to which tab I'm viewing.--ElectricRat 00:09, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
