Thank you, and have a good time editing here! |
Link templates
Please use link templates when linking to stuff such as Pokémon names, attacks, and the like. For example, {{p|Drapion}} instead of just [[Drapion]]. This is so you don't unintentionally link to a disambiguation page.
For a full crash course on link templates, look at the list of link templates. ht14 16:33, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --Mikuri 00:37, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
- Please, if you know that you're going to be microanalyzing an episode for errors, wait until you're completely done to add all of the errors to the page. Record all of the errors you find on a notepad or something, and when you think you've gotten them all, then add them to the page. Two, three, or maybe even four edits are fine, but 11 edits to XY133 within 24 hours is just ridiculous. --Carmen★ (Talk | contribs) 21:59, 4 September 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for correcting XY121
Hey thanks for correcting my mistakes in XY121. User:PokeKent 23:26, 29 May 2016
Episode errors
I'd like to just say a couple things.
1) (Edit: Much like it appears Carmenstar97 noted above...) If you're going to go through an entire episode looking for errors (or whatever exactly you're doing with XY133 currently), instead of saving each thing you find as you find it and making a half dozen edits in an hour, perhaps try just saving them up until you're done so you only have to save once. It's not a race; it'll keep for a bit until you're totally ready.
2) Errors are really supposed to only be things that are visible for more than a few frames (not something you have to step through to notice/see for sure). I have no idea how close any errors currently on XY133 are to that threshold, but, just in case, if you could keep that in mind in the future (and maybe weed out some of XY133), that'd be great. Thanks.
