Autocategorized: when a page is categorized because of the templates it contains. Putting {{user en-N}} on this page categorizes User talk:Espeon360/Eeveelutions as a native speaker of English. See? I have written no categories, but it's still categorizing for me. That's what the Pokémon infobox does: it autocategorizes the page by body size and egg group. Don't you see that this page is now categorized? Do you see any [[Category:User en]] or [[Category:User en-N]] when you click to edit the page (I mean besides these ones I just wrote)? It's the template that's doing that, because it has an <includeonly> tag in there that surrounds the categories that get included on all pages that use it. All templates also have a <noinclude> tag around the category that they themselves belong to, but the pages that use them should not. The coding for the {{p}} template has <noinclude>[[Category:Link templates]]</noinclude> so as to categorize Template:P as a link template, but not all of the 5000 pages that use it. This is what screws things up when people take template code into their userpages instead of just including the template. If I just copied the code for {{User Firefox}}, I would be categorized as a browser tag. I'm not a browser tag! I'm a Firefox user! TTEchidna 22:22, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
