By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Userspace, and the rules pertaining to it

I noticed your recent explosion into the userspace. There is a limit to how many times one should edit it per day. It is outlined in the help pages in the above welcome. It is not something you should overdo: Bulbapedia is first and foremost an encyclopedia, and users are expected to help with the encyclopedic side. I also noticed that in order to edit the userspace, you were simply removing actual content just to add it back in an edit later. This is borderline vandalism, since half of your edits can be seen as removing factual information. Your privilege of editing the userspace has been stripped for the time being. Show that you can edit the actual content pages, and you will receive this privilege again in due time. There are enough things to do. 2,552 articles need more information. Perhaps start there. The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Changes button... Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Thanks! --Truthseeker4449 01:41, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
