After having edited a lot of these pages, I think this is an amazing idea. The only issue might come when a Pokémon learns a move through TM, but doesn't through tutoring within the same generation. See Helping Hand. The fact that everything post-Gen 1 gets the USUM mark just doesn't look great (it is not as bad for level-up moves). However, this is really needed now that old-school tutors are basically TRs. Also just makes the entire thing cleaner and smaller. I am no authority when it comes to deciding this, but you have my full support.

• I figured the precedent set on the TM chart RE: having a whole column of game superscripts was enough to justify using it here. In the case of where they learned it by TM and not Tutor I just have them marked PE which works well enough imo! LGPE does just kind of throw a wrench in things in general because there are very few cases that need the superscript label without it. --Guiltysparkzz (talk) 20:08, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Well the tutor template has different tabs for each game, so I think those could be helpful here for Gen VII and future LG style games. I honestly think USUM and LGPE should be different columns under Gen VII everywhere, because that would just look cleaner. Sure, it would make the templates wider, but that's inevitable. We should also have a "not in game"(X?) mark in general after the Crown Tundra drops. Anyways, that's a different conversation. I hope this gets approved.
