Chinese names
Please note that that the "In other languages" sections are only for official names, so do not add names from pages labeled with 「非官方译名」 or marked with 「暂译」 from 52Poké. Thank you! --Abcboy (talk) 01:52, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry! Never noticed that tag since it was in super light blue. --Kalexchu (talk) 01:58, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
- Just wondering, where did you get the Chinese names for pages like Berry fields (Kalos), Nature Preserve, and Marine Tube? These locations appeared in games that weren't released in Chinese, so I wouldn't expect them to have Chinese names. Were they mentioned in later games? --SnorlaxMonster 02:17, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
- I'm getting everything from 52Poké. If it's not tagged as unofficial translation or temporary translation, I'm assuming it's official. If I'm mistaken, feel free to change it back. --Kalexchu (talk) 02:20, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
- For subjects which haven't appeared in games that have been released in Chinese, please check the 52Poké page and its history to confirm where the name came from, then include that information in your edit summary. It appears that the Chinese name of Nature Preserve comes from the description of the Permit (which is present in the game data of Sun and Moon) and the Chinese name of Marine Tube came from the official WeChat application. On 52Poké, because the Kalos and Alola Berry fields share a page, the Chinese name of the Kalos location appears to be unofficial. --SnorlaxMonster 02:26, 8 June 2019 (UTC)
