Don't put "retrieved from your userpage" when you insert an image to a page, okay? TTEchidna 02:05, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
Userboxes
Well, they're pretty easy to put on your userpage. Just put <div class="userbox" style="width: 230pt;"> on your page somewhere, then below it, put in the userbox templates. For example, {{User Diamond}} makes
This user is a player of Pokémon Diamond Version. |
appear, and it goes all the way across the page when unrestricted by the "div" boxes. Putting the following:
This user is a player of Pokémon Diamond Version. |
This user is a player of Pokémon Pearl Version. |
This user was an early supporter of remakes of Pokémon Gold and Silver. |
<div class="userbox" style="width: 230pt;"> {{User Diamond}} {{User Pearl}} {{User GoldSilverRemake}} </div>
causes you to end up with what appears on the right side of this page.
Make sure to close the div tags, though, or you might end up with your whole page below your userboxes in the div box. ↓
That certainly wouldn't be fun... so make sure you close up the div tags with </div> after you've finished adding userboxes.
If you need any more help, I'll be glad to provide it. TTEchidna 22:38, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Part 2
Ah, no, we don't have a plain, customizable userbox template... Might be a really good idea, though, since now it's a pain in the ass to make custom userboxes. I'll take care of making it (or them, even) later myself, though, I've gotta make sure that it'll work well. I'm gonna talk to Zhen and Pie about perhaps making a page here like how Wookiepedia has one on userboxes and how to use them later on, too. We should have all that finished up soon, I think. Part 3
He programmed those in himself, much like how I had the Gold and Silver remake one in my page just as the raw stuff before someone went and turned it into the template. They've got the raw template stuff, which isn't too hard to figure out if you use the preview button frequently. TTEchidna 03:48, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
Part 4
Hey, sorry, I've been sidetracked over the past couple weeks. Anyway, I think I've got the translation right, based on my own knowledge of Spanish and Google Translate's own quirks, but hey, you're the native speaker here, if I messed something up, you'd be the one who knows how to fix it. Anyway, it's at {{User pt}}
, and in the next short while, I'll be making them for the other four levels. TTEchidna 20:56, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Editorial Board
Any reason you added yourself to the Editorial Board? --PAK Man Talk 19:36, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Well, as it says on the Editorial Board page, "Joining the editorial board is by invitation only. We look for, amongst other things, an established reputation for expertise and a willingness to contribute more to Bulbapedia than just facts and figures." So it's not something anybody can join, which is why I thought it was odd that your name appeared on it. The tag saying that you are one of the editors on Bulbapedia, therefore, is for members of the editorial board only. Sorry if this wasn't clear. --PAK Man Talk 23:16, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

- I think the page in question should be under protected status. This way, people can't just put their name down and then walk around like they own the place. --Shiningpikablu252 23:19, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

queria só agradecer por teres feito a template de falar portugues. é bom poder escrever em portugues para variar! - Yukushi wisdom 22:19, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
You can stay logged in on your computer by going to "my preferences" while you are logged in (it is in the top right of the screen), checking the box that says "Remember my login on this computer," and finally clicking the "save" button. If your computer has separate accounts for each user, it will only remember your setting on that account, and if you login on any computer that isn't set to remember your login, you will have to reset the preferences to remember it on your computer when you login on it. --Shiny NoctowlTalk | Fun 16:52, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, looks like that question is already taken care of. Thanks, Shiny. TTEchidna 03:35, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Pokémon images
Oh, those, yeah. They're set to the default sizing. Sometimes that messes things up. You can change it, just put "size=100px |" between the image= and caption= things, and preview it if you plan on editing it. TTEchidna 21:52, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
