User talk:Memo326/Trainer Classes

Some things explaining my choices:

Firstly, of course, any trainer classes from the console games (which seem to be doomed to be one-line articles forever, and aren't as important as those in the main series) were omitted. However, more importantly, I omitted the following types of trainer classes:

• Those that belong to only one trainer (i.e. Boss for Giovanni, Hall Matron for Argenta, etc.)
• Those that belong to a group of characters, where those characters are separate individuals (i.e. Commander, Elite Four, etc.)

Basically, I only included the truly generic trainer classes.

The non-recurring sections turned out to be smaller than I expected, but still, I didn't think of a better way to organize it. Perhaps joining Kanto and Johto would be better; this would knock down 5 or so trainer classes from the recurring section (Juggler, Burglar...) and it would make more sense (since in here Kanto simply represents Gen-1 era Kanto, not also Kanto in Gen 2 and HGSS, which for example also has Firebreathers). The Hoenn and Sinnoh sections would remain small anyways.

I think this would be better than individual templates, since many trainer classes (as shown above) would have to have at least two templates, which would cause template clutter and many repeat links.

Also, I didn't know what color to put for Recurring, so suggest something please.
