Signature policy
Hey! Whenever you post on a talk page, you need to sign your posts afterwards. You can do this by typing in four tildes (~). Thank you! GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:32, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
- First off, it's supposed to be four tildes, unless you somehow customized your signature beforehand. Second off, it's useless to sign your talk page posts minutes after the fact; timestamps needs to be accurate. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:46, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
- What happened to your signature? Your signature needs to have links to your userpage and talk page. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 07:05, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
- I don't have a user page yet so there's nothing to link to and idk how to add those links anyway. Also theres literally an option to customize your signature. PLMMJ2011 (talk) 13:55, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
- LOL im treating it as wikicode. PLMMJ2011 (talk) 13:58, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
- I already told you, you need to type in four tildes to create a proper signature with the necessary links, regardless of whether the links will work or not. It needs to look like ~~~~. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:20, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
- That's actually what i've been doing. I just had the wikicode option enabled. If you don't want me to use it then why is it there? PLMMJ (talk) (talk) 00:20, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
- You're only supposed to use the wikicode option if you're customizing your signature, or making it look visually different than how a signature is typically displayed when you use the four tildes. Unless you're planning on making your signature fancy-looking, then there is no need for that option. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:04, 13 August 2020 (UTC)
