Designers
Hey, I appreciate that you're adding designers to Pokémon's pages, but please make sure to always include a source (as you did for Eevee). --SnorlaxMonster 13:59, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
- I'm going to go ahead and butt in here as well, but... At the moment, there are two talk page topics here that you seem to have ignored despite being relatively active. So I'm just going to go ahead and say, if you still haven't made any response to your talk page topics tomorrow, I'm going to undo these unsourced designers you added as well.
- Thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 22:24, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
Pokemon names
Can you explain where you're getting spellings like Nemush for Nemashu? Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:20, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- I can't provide a source, but I can vouch for Rimelli. I've seen the names used before. --Celadonkey 20:44, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- If there's no source, we can't ensure they're the trademarked spellings. Without a source, for all we know, they could be something somebody on the Internet made up that happened to get traction. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 21:21, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- True. Does anyone know anyone one here from Japan who may be able to answer? --Celadonkey 21:34, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- After doing a little bit of experimenting with the "time" on Google's search tools, I found the earliest source online for most of these names is [1]. I'm going to email Dogasu's Backpack to find out where they got these names. --Celadonkey 22:30, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
- Dogasu says right here he doesn't use the trademarked names but ones made by himself. If Dogasu is indeed this user's source, it's not credible for aforementioned reason. It should also be noted that trademarked romanizations for Pokémon names have never had a macron, so Massibūn shouldn't be Buzzwole's trademarked Japanese name.--電禅Den Zen 22:45, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
