Serebii
As an FYI, please never take any amount of information from Serebii to use here on Bulbapedia. Serebii is not an acceptable source. (The same basically applies to other fan sites as well.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:01, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- Mkay, but don't we need to include some information about the old guy who lets you change your battle style? Straight-up reverting the change seems kind of unhelpful to me. --Song of the Dragon (talk) 18:08, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- If you took it from Serebii, we cannot have it here. And *I* am definitely not able to confirm the information at all. If someone with the games wants to look into it themselves, they can add something. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:28, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, I have the games. I'll go and add a table talking about the styles. The only information I didn't know myself was how to unlock the other styles, not what the styles were or what order they go in. (And I did forget the guy's name, but it was something amusing.) While we're chatting, what template should I use to build the table? Mine was much too ugly. --Song of the Dragon (talk) 19:12, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- A few things then.
- Don't use "you". Wikis don't write like that. (You can look at other pages, like perhaps Vaniville Town, to get a feel for how things should be written.)
- Check out the wikicode link in your welcome template above, and the Tables section there. For the most part, wikis do not use HTML coding.
- It may also help you to try to copy from a working example. SOS Battle#Weather-dependent allies should be a fairly simple example, although it does cells a little differently than the Wikicode page shows. (You can also try searching Wikipedia (who surely covers it better) for more beginner information on using wikicode, or the web in general.)
- Try using those resources to make your edit. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:32, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
