By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Your recent edit to RocketShipping

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that major edits to Shipping pages need to be approved by ArcToraphim. Also, please try to write more formally while editing on Bulbapedia. Keep in mind that this is an encyclopedia, and we try to avoid writing too casually or overusing parentheses. Some of the content you added was also somewhat inappropriate for this site, such as the extra details regarding the "torture" dungeon in Holy Matrimony!. Thanks. Some link advice

When I looked through your recent RocketShipping edits, I noticed some errors in how you linked articles. Even as a regular editor, I can see what you may need to improve, so here's some helpful advice:

  • Should you link to an individual Pokémon species, try using a link template. For example, if you want to link to Beedrill's page, try using Beedrill instead of Beedrill. The latter leads to a redirect.
    • Moves are the same way. For example, try using Ice Beam instead of Ice Beam to link to the Ice Beam article.
  • Speaking of redirects, if you wish to link to Ash's page, simply using Ash leads to a redirect. Try using Ash instead.
  • There's no need to link the same page multiple times, unless if they're spaced out enough. An overload of links to the same page in a small area does not look good on an article, and may turn off a visitor. For example, you linked J's page several times in one small section. Once should be good enough.

I wish you the best of luck. Take care! Berrenta (talk) 02:10, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

More RocketShipping

Hi there! I noticed you've been contributing a lot to the RocketShipping article. Thanks! I just had a quick question for you... you added a lot of references to the Spanish dub. There are actually two different Spanish dubs with different scripts and cast, one made in Latin America and one made in Spain. Which of these are the hints appearing in? For the sake of factual accuracy I'd like to specify which version the hints appeared in. Thanks! --ZestyCactus 23:00, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

They're all from the Latin American dub. I've been wondering how to specify that. From my understanding, articles aren't supposed to have a lot of parenthesis, and links aren't supposed to be repeated in close proximity. Would this be an exception? Should I write "Latin American Spanish"? Should I write "L.A. Spanish"? I don't know enough about Wikis to answer that. TR Jessie (talk) 01:03, 10 January 2014 (UTC)TR Jessie
Thanks for the clarification :) I would suggest something like "In the Latin American Spanish dub..." with perhaps the first instance for each heading linked (you can use the pmin template for ease of linking) and then the rest you don't have to link, just to say "In the Latin American Spanish dub" is enough. Thanks again! --ZestyCactus 01:14, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
