VolcanionEX (Japanese: ボルケニオンEX VolcanionEX) is a dual-type Fire/Water Basic Pokémon-EX card. It was first released as part of the Steam Siege expansion.

Release information

This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art card, and as a Secret card in the Steam Siege expansion, first released in the Japanese Fever-Burst Fighter expansion. The Regular and Full Art prints feature artwork by 5ban Graphics, while the Secret print features artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita. An unnumbered promotional Jumbo version of the Regular print was made available in the Japanese Volcanion-EX Special Jumbo Card Pack, released on August 5, 2016. This card was later reprinted with new artwork by 5ban Graphics as one of the XY Black Star Promos included in the Battle Heart Tins released September 16, 2016.

The Regular print was later reprinted in the Sun & Moon Era in the Japanese The Best of XY subset. The Regular print, alongside a Jumbo version, was included in the Volcanion-EX Challenge Box. The Regular print was reprinted as a Non Holofoil in the Japanese Extra Regulation Box released on October 4, 2019.
