Yumi Touma (Japanese: 冬馬由美 Tōma Yumi) is a Japanese voice actress for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Touma was born as Yumi Nakagawa (Japanese: 中川由美 Nakagawa Yumi) on December 20, 1966, in Chiba, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, and became a voice actress and singer as an adult. She is often typecast as strong, beautiful women due to her mature voice. Touma has provided the voices of several Pokémon and characters of the day since the original series. Her most notable roles in Pokémon are that of Caroline and Pichu Big. Touma was once affiliated with Aoni Production, but she left and has since founded her own agency, ALLURE&Y. She is currently married to Tatsuya Yoshida, a producer from Toei Company.
