Bastiodon (Japanese: トリデプス Trideps) is a Rock/Steel-type Pokémon. It is available in Generation IV games.
Biology
Physiology
Bastiodon appears to be a cross between a Triceratops, and a bulldozer. The small, shield-like growth this Pokémon had before evolution has been completely upgraded to a large, castle wall-shaped shield, large enough to protect it from attacks. On its feet, smaller, shield-like growths sprout upward to protect the Pokémon's legs. There are also small grey spikes along Bastiodon's back.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Aside from Bastiodon having amazing defensive capabilities, it can learn some powerful attack oriented moves, such as Metal Burst, and Iron Head.
Behavior
Despite its rough, and cruel appearacne, Bastiodon is suprisingly timid, and caring. It will go to great lengths to protect the young in its herd.
