Sweet Veil (Japanese: スイートベール Sweet Veil) is an Ability introduced in Generation VI. It is the signature Ability of Swirlix and Slurpuff. It is one of three Abilities that prevent sleeping, the others being Insomnia and Vital Spirit.

Effect

In battle

Sweet Veil prevents the user and its allies from falling asleep. Rest will fail when used by the Pokémon or an ally.

Sweet Veil causes Yawn to fail if used on the Pokémon or its allies, and prevents the Pokémon and its allies already drowsy due to Yawn from falling asleep.

Outside of battle

It is unknown if Sweet Veil has an effect outside of battle.
