Catastropika (Japanese: ひっさつのピカチュート Certain-kill Pikachoot) is a damage-dealing Electric-type Z-Move introduced in Generation VII. It is the exclusive Z-Move of Pikachu and an upgraded version of its signature move, Volt Tackle.

Description

Games Description SMUSUM The user, Pikachu, surrounds itself with the maximum amount of electricity using its Z-Power and pounces on its target with full force.

Learnset

Pikachu can use Catastropika if it knows Volt Tackle, holds a Pikanium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-Ring.

Only regular Pikachu can use Catastropika. Pikachu in a cap cannot use Catastropika, even if it knows Volt Tackle, holds a Pikanium Z, and its Trainer wears a Z-Ring.

Trivia

• Catastropika is one of the two species-based Z-Moves with a unique execution pose, the other being 10,000,000 Volt Thunderbolt. Both are exclusive to Pikachu, albeit certain forms.
