The EX Deoxys set is released in English, German, French, and Italian, with all cards also available as Reverse Holofoils. The non-holo Uncommons in the Japanese, English, German, French, and Italian sets are available with two different codes at the bottom-left; the non-holo Commons in the Japanese set are available with four different codes at the bottom-left; and the non-Holo Commons in the English, German, French, and Italian sets have three different codes available. The purpose of these different codes is still unknown, but occurred throughout the first halve of the EX era.

EX Deoxys is the name given to the eighth main expansion of the EX Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as Clash of the Blue Sky, the second expansion in the Pokémon Card Game PCG Era. It is based on Pokémon Emerald, featuring Generation III Pokémon, Rayquaza, and Deoxys. The English expansion was released on February 14, 2005, while the Japanese expansion was released on July 1, 2004. The release of EX Deoxys coincided with the home video release of the seventh Pokémon movie, Destiny Deoxys.
