Information
EX Power Keepers is the name given to the sixteenth and final main expansion of the EX Series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released as World Champions Pack, a special set in the Pokémon Card Game DP Era. It is based on Pokémon Emerald, featuring Generation III Pokémon and the Hoenn region Elite Four. The English expansion was released on February 14, 2007, while the Japanese special set was released on July 5, 2007.
In Japan, the special set was available exclusively through the Pokémon Card Game website. It was intended for Japanese players so they would not be at a disadvantage at the 2007 World Championships. Japanese players could order their packs online from June 15 until July 1. Packs were released from July 5 onward to those who had ordered them. Each pack contained fifteen cards.
EX Power Keepers was the final expansion to feature the set logo on the bottom right corner of the artwork of Reverse Holofoil cards. Only the Reverse Holofoil versions of the Rare Holo cards had the gold foil name and HP text.

Languages this set is released in
The EX Power Keepers set is released in English, German, and French, with cards also available as Reverse Holofoils. The World Champions Pack is only released in Japanese, in both 1st and unlimited edition. The unlimited edition packs of this set were only available for sale at the 2008 Spring Battle Road events. Due to bomb threads, three out of five planned 2008 Spring Battle Road event venues were cancelled, and the remaining two venues only went through their initial two days instead of entire week, before they were cancelled as well, making this unlimited edition Japanese set one of the rarest sets there are, possibly only overshadowed by the unlimited edition Japanese cards of the Base Expansion Pack set, of which some cards were given through lotteries.
