Mai (Japanese: ヨネ Yone) is a warden tasked with watching over a special Wyrdeer found in the Obsidian Fieldlands. She is a member of the Diamond Clan.

She bears a striking resemblance to Marley, but the relationship between the two, if any, is unknown.

In the core series

Mai grew up with her partner, Munchlax, and the two were raised together as if they were siblings. She also considers Adaman to be her "little brother", whom she helped raise, although they are not related by blood.

After completing Request 102: Daybreak, Mai can be found at any of the camps. During a massive mass outbreak, the player can feed her Munchlax five Aguav Berries to reveal which Pokémon are present in the outbreak. At the Training Grounds, Ingo can also summon her for a rematch against the player.

Pokémon

Mai sends all her Pokémon out against the player. Like all members of the Diamond Clan, Mai does not keep her Pokémon in a Poké Ball.
