Punk Rock (Japanese: パンクロック Punk Rock) is an Ability introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature Ability of Toxtricity.
Effect
In battle
Punk Rock boosts the power of the Pokémon's sound-based moves by 30%. A Pokémon with Punk Rock also takes half damage from damaging sound-based moves.
Affected moves
The table below lists the moves affected by Punk Rock, as well as the Pokémon that can have Punk Rock and learn those moves.
|
Although the following moves are affected by the Ability, they currently cannot be learned by any Pokémon with Punk Rock. They may, however, be called via Metronome, Mirror Move, Copycat, or Mimic, or be used by a Pokémon that gained Punk Rock by an Ability like Trace or Receiver or a move such as Skill Swap or Role Play.
This Ability effect may be in need of research. Reason: Check if Chatter is affected (Chatot isn't in SV, but the move Chatter is in the game data and has a description). You can discuss this on the talk page. |
|
Outside of battle
Punk Rock has no effect outside of battle.
