Hyper Fang (Japanese: ひっさつまえば Certain-kill Fang) is a damage-dealing Normal-type move introduced in Generation I. Prior to Generation IV, it was one of the signature moves of Rattata and Raticate.
Effect
Hyper Fang deals damage and has a 10% chance of causing the target to flinch.
Hyper Fang gains a 50% power boost when used by a Pokémon with Strong Jaw.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Sword and Shield
Hyper Fang is programmed into Pokémon Sword and Shield, but cannot be selected in a battle as no available Pokémon can learn it. However, it can be called by Metronome.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Hyper Fang cannot be selected in a battle.
Generation IX
Hyper Fang cannot be selected in a battle.
