Release information
This card was included in the Base Set, first released in the Japanese Expansion Pack. It was reprinted in the Base Set 2 expansion. It was reprinted in the Japanese Pokémon Web. It was reprinted again in the Legendary Collection expansion.
A special reprint was included in the Stormfront expansion with redrawn artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita, first released in the Japanese Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky expansion. This print modified some of the card text to bring it in line with modern card wording whilst still allowing it to retain its original effects.
In the Scarlet and Violet era, this card was reprinted in Holofoil with its original Base Set artwork in the Pokémon Card Game Classic. This reprint lacks a regulation mark and is thus not legal for tournament play.
