Fashion item | |||
Fashion items are sold at apparel shops with each apparel shop in Alola having a unique selection of fashion items. Players can browse the shop's selection by talking to the attendant. Upon exiting the menu, the player will be prompted to put on any purchased items. To put on any obtained items, the player can also use the fitting room located in back-left corner of every apparel shop. In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, fitting rooms are also found in Alola Photo Clubs. Fitting rooms only allow the player to change between clothing they currently own, or change their contact lenses or lip color.
Unlike previous generations, starting from these games, the player may choose not to wear any hats.
The Trainer customization screen has separate menus for tops, bottoms, socks, shoes, bags, hats, eyewear, and hair accessories.
In the Festival Plaza, the player can dye their white fashion items to different colors at dye houses. The player can use the shop's dyes, or they can use Berries from their Bag to create a dye to use. The player can also redye any item they have previously dyed.

- Styling: $1,500 (♀, front only: $500)
