Route 19 (Japanese: 19番道路 Route 19) is a route in southwestern Unova, connecting Aspertia City to Floccesy Town.
Route description
Route 19 starts from Aspertia City and twists its way round to the east where Floccesy Town is situated. It is here where Bianca will give the tutorial on how to catch wild Pokémon. A Youngster on this route will inform the player about ledge jumping. Just before entering Floccesy Town, former Champion Alder greets the player after jumping down a tall cliff at the end of the route. The northern section of this route cannot be accessed until after the move Surf can be used. If the player accesses this northern section early, such as by trading in a Pokémon that knows Surf, an NPC will block the path along the cliff leading to where Alder jumps down from if the cutscene has not been activated yet.

Route 19 appeared in a flashback in Unforgettable Memories. Five years earlier, Hugh had taken his sister there to have a battle with the Purrloin he had just given to her as a birthday gift. Unfortunately, a pair of Team Plasma Grunts had also shown up and, upon witnessing Pokémon hurting each other in battle, had stolen Purrloin as their organization's very first act of "liberating" Unova's Pokémon from their Trainers. This act had made Hugh declare a vendetta against Team Plasma, swearing to get stronger so that he could one day get Purrloin back.
Trivia
- This is the only route in Unova where rustling grass will never reveal an Audino.
- In the area that requires Surf to access, there are two wall tiles next to the staircase that are non-solid and can be walked into.
