In the anime
In Raid Battle in The Ruins!, Ash, Goh, Kira, and their partner Pokémon each wore a pair of Go-Goggles while traveling through the Desert Resort.
In Making Battles in the Sand!, Ash, Goh, and their Pokémon wore Go-Goggles in order to pass through a sandstorm that had appeared in Mauville City.
In The Good, The Bad, and The Lucky!, Ash and Goh wore Go-Goggles while riding in a desert.
Trivia
- In Pokémon Black and White, a Backpacker references this item, saying he doesn't need them in the Desert Resort. In Generation VII, a Hiker mentions needing them in Haina Desert.
- In Generation III, several NPCs in the desert mention wearing Go-Goggles. This is no longer the case in Generation VI, where the same characters now mention how the sandstorm is hurting their eyes due to their lack of Go-Goggles.
