The Fire type (Japanese: (ほのお) Fire) is one of the eleven TCG types. It is represented by the color red, and symbolized by a five-tipped flame.

The Fire type contains most Fire-type Pokémon found in the main series video games. For example, Charizard, Moltres, and Entei are all Fire types in the TCG.

In Pokémon Trading Card Game, there are 17 Fire-type Pokémon cards. In Pokémon Trading Card Game 2: The Invasion of Team GR!, there are 35 Fire-type Pokémon cards.
