Natasha is the owner of a [[watmel berry]] patch ''(watermelon patch in the dub)'' and takes great pride in it. She watches over them as if they were her children as has her pokémon, Grovyle, Slugma, and Electrode (which is painted like a watmel berry) to help her guard them.

A hungry [[Team Rocket]] happened to come across her watmel berries and decided to help themselves to one. However they were stopped when her Electrode discovered them and used Explosion which sent them flying. Unfortunately this caused the watmel berry to be dropped into a nearby river. Later it happen to be discovered by Ash and company and they decided to enjoy it. However when Natasha saw them eating it she immediately called on her Grovyle and Slugma to attack them. She then accused them as being the thieves.  Ash tries to explain to her that they just found it in the river but she didn’t believe him.  When she called her Electrode over to confirm it, it disagreed.  These were not the same people who stole it in the first place. She then nervously apologized to Ash and the others.

However, when Natasha saw them eating them, she immediately called on her Grovyle and Slugma to attack them. She refused to believe their alibis until her Electrode informed her that they were not the thieves. She then nervously apologized to Ash and the others.


Natasha always likes to here how great her berries taste.  After her apology she begged Ash to tell her how it tasted being sure that they were the best in the world referring to herself as ''"The Melon Master"''.
Later, she challenged Ash to a [[Double Battle]], where her {{p|Grovyle}} and {{p|Slugma}} faced off against [[Ash's Treecko]] and {{AP|Corphish}}. She ended up winning the match when her Grovyle's {{m|Bullet Seed}} triumphed over Treecko's. However, in the process, Treecko was able to learn its own Bullet Seed, though it was imperfect.


Natasha tends to have a forgetful, upbeat, and sometimes goofy personality similar to that of [[wp:Sailor Moon (character)|Sailor Moon]]. This is seen in her forgetting to introduce herself to Ash.
