Soundproof (Japanese: ぼうおん Soundproof) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Seven Pokémon have this ability.

Effect

In battle

Soundproof prevents all effect from sound moves, granting the user immunity from them. Also, a sleeping Pokémon with this ability cannot be awaken with a Pokéflute in Fire Red and Leaf Green.
