Slaking appears in Love, Petalburg Style, belonging to May's father, Norman, the Gym Leader of Petalburg City. In the following episode, Ash's Grovyle defeats it in battle, winning Ash the Balance Badge.
A giant Slaking appears in Slaking Kong, but it's really a robot controlled by Team Rocket.
