Trivia
Origin
Venonat is most likely based on a gnat.
Name origin
Venonat's name is likely a combination of venom and gnat, a small insect. While the kana in its Japanese name literally means 今般, recently, it is unlikely this is related to its name.
In other languages
- German: Bluzuk
- French: Mimitoss - Mimi (mignon in short form) means cute, mite means moth, and toss comes from the english word.
- Korean: 콘팡 Konpang
