Gluttony (Japanese: くいしんぼう Glutton) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. Nineteen Pokémon can have this Ability.

Effect

In battle

Gluttony causes the Pokémon to eat Berries that would normally be eaten at 25% HP or lower at 50% HP or lower instead. It has no effect on Berries such as the Oran Berry and Figy Berry, which are normally eaten at 50% HP or less. It also has no effect on the use of Berries with non-HP-related trigger conditions, such as the Leppa Berry and Lum Berry.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon

Gluttony causes the user's Belly to empty out quicker than normal. However, it sometimes also negates Grimy Food's side effect, similarly to Survivalist IQ skill.

Outside of battle

Gluttony has no effect outside of battle.
