Generations III-VI

A Figy Berry, when held by a Pokémon, will restore 1/8 of its maximum HP when its HP drops to ½ or below, but causes confusion to Pokémon that dislike the spicy flavor. (Specifically, it confuses Pokémon with Modest, Timid, Calm, or Bold Natures.) When forcibly consumed via Fling, Pluck, or Bug Bite, it restores 1/8 of the consumer's maximum HP, and confuses any consumer that dislikes the spicy flavor.

Generation VII

A Figy Berry now restores ½ of the holder's HP when it drops to ¼ or below.

Generation VIII

The restored amount is decreased to 1/3 of the holder's HP.

Bag item

Generation III-VI

When used from the Bag on a Pokémon, it restores the Pokémon's HP by 1/8 of its maximum HP. It is consumed after use.

Generation VII

A Figy Berry now restores the Pokémon's HP by 1/2 of its maximum HP when used from the Bag on a Pokémon.

Generation VIII

A Figy Berry now restores the Pokémon's HP by 1/3 of its maximum HP when used from the Bag on a Pokémon.

In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it restores the Pokémon's HP by 1/2 of its maximum HP. A wild Pokémon that hates spicy flavors will briefly pause if it eats a Figy Berry.

Figy Berry in Pokémon Sleep

The Figy Berry is available in Pokémon Sleep as one of the Berries that can be gathered by helper Pokémon and fed to Snorlax.

Effect

Figy Berries raise Snorlax's Strength, doubling the effect if the Berry is Snorlax's favorite. The base amount of Strength raised by the Berry is determined by the level of the helper Pokémon that gathered it.

Acquisition

Figy Berries can be gathered by Ground-type helper Pokémon in the player's team. Like all Berries in the game, gathered Figy Berries do not go into the player's inventory and instead are immediately eaten by Snorlax.

In the anime

Figy Berries in the anime

Figy Berries debuted in Beheeyem, Duosion, and the Dream Thief!, where Cilan needed them for the spicy meal he was preparing. He was dismayed to realize he did not have any, but Beheeyem brought him some. Later, Cilan used some of the Figy Berries to wake up Meowth.

In Mallow and the Forest Teacher!, Figy Berries were seen at Oranguru's house.

In Very Vexing Volbeat, Amber had his Volbeat use Trick to swap its Figy Berry with the Blue Orb that Tabitha's Torkoal was carrying.

Diamond & Pearl arc

In Grumpy Gliscor, a Figy Berry was one of the Berries that Lax threw at a wild Gliscor attacking the S.S. Sinnoh in order to distract it.

In Lucky Lucario II, a Figy Berry was seen amongst the Berries that Diamond used while making food for himself, his Pokémon, and Riley while training at Iron Island.

Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon arc

In The Delivery of Rotom and the Girl, Moon used a Figy Berry from a Berry tree as a part of her painkiller medicine for Sun's injured foot.

In Homecoming and the Brilliant Professional Golfer, a Figy Berry was found by Moon at Lush Jungle during her search for a special Mirage Berry.
