Plot
Major events
- Sun delivers Moon and Rotom to Professor Kukui.
- Moon gives Rotom to Professor Kukui.
- Professor Kukui reveals he needed a Rotom to have it combine with the Pokédex he gave to Sun.
- Due to Sun's mishandling of the Pokédex, Rotom refuses to enter the device.
- The Island Kahunas plan to host a tournament at a festival to determine who will travel the islands and calm the Guardian deities.
- Professor Kukui enters Sun in the festival.
