Design Origin
Could we add an extra column to the table for in-game Sync Pairs detailing where their designs are from, much like we have in the unreleased/upcoming Sync Pair table? I think it's a really interesting piece of information, and if people agree with adding it, I wouldn't mind editing it myself. - BlackButterfree (talk) 00:13, 28 February 2020 (UTC)
Masters characters and Red
There is no confirmation about Masters originals characters to be released as sync pairs in future, even the official website put them separatly from the playable Sync Pairs, and since we have a Sygna Suit Red, mean they will release a regular Red, or the one we had would be called just Red.--Zarxiel94 (talk) 17:06, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
Re-group same Sync Pairs in one with various infos, and reorganization
I made a new version of the Sync Pairs with evolution and Megas regruped in one space since they are actually just one Sync Pair.
Unfortunately I cannot edit it, because it think is vandalism, can I ask someone to do this, and I wanted to propose a reorganization to follow the Sync Pairs story order (that follow the generations) instead of the release order.--Zarxiel94 (talk) 14:22, 28 May 2020 (UTC)
- Don't make smaller edits to make one large edit, especially to circumvent a filter. Largescale edits like these needs approval first, don't just make the edits. I don't have Masters, so I don't have an opinion on this. Once it gets approval from other staff members, then the change can be made.--ForceFire 17:02, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
- I tried to contact somebody, but nobody answered me after a couple of days... I made this edits just because I thinked was the better for it, not for some "bad" intention--Zarxiel94 (talk) 18:14, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
- I poked some people for you, general opinion seems to be NDex numbers should be changed to the in game Syn Pair Dex number, it's a good idea to merge Scottie/Bertie/Mega Evolutions, but special suits should be kept separate. We'd also like to incorporate the in game type icons as well if possible, what do you think? --Spriteit (talk) 01:34, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
- Here's a draft update, I admittedly don't know the dex numbers. --Spriteit (talk) 03:16, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
- I agree to leave the different skins separatly and add the icons. For the order, the number is actually the release order. I have all Sync Pairs, so I can show the order of each of them in the sync pairs stories.

Here the screenshots of all Sync pairs in the sync story order (sorry for the huge images, I don't know how to change the size):

Order and icons
Perfect :D I love the new style. I will like to use the sync pairs story order (that I posted in the images here) and use the icons for the complete evolution instead of the base form, since is the "complete" version and where you unlock the "Sync move of the Sync pair"--Zarxiel94 (talk) 10:59, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
- For this list, I'm not sure there is a compelling reason to prefer the sync pair story order over the Dex order. For other places, like the tables for moves, passive skills, etc., maybe, but not here. --Neumannz (talk) 20:34, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
- Well, I think is better aestetically since the order is based on generations and "classes", the dex order is based about the releases. Over time and for the new players of Masters, the sync story list order will be easier to find some character. For exemple. If someone want to find Glacia just need to go in the place where the 3th gen characters are placed, but if we place in the dex order, the reader need to remember when Glacia was released or seek her and check one by one since will not have any clue. With sync pairs order, the reader can slide down until he see the 3rd gen characters, and then he will understand he is near Glacia.--Zarxiel94 (talk) 21:09, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
- I would like to point out that the Dex order is not strictly about releases, as Solgaleo is still up at #01; that since we are documenting the sync pairs here, we should use the same ordering as the Dex, not unlike how a list of all Pokémon on this site still goes by National Pokédex number and doesn't rearrange it so cross-generational families are grouped together (also, are you thinking of putting the player character at the bottom? they ARE the last released character, after all); and that not only is the list not terribly long, but Ctrl-F is still a thing, so no one should have THAT hard a time finding Glacia no matter what.
- On the other hand, if it were possible to make the table sortable by generation I would totally be on board with that, but that would require an additional column to the table, an arguably unnecessary change. --Neumannz (talk) 01:32, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- Solgaleo is #01 too (like any other Pokémon used by the player character) because the dex consider the trainer, not the Pokémon or the Sync pair. The Player Character was released when the game was released, so all other version of him will have the same number. Elesa Synga Suit will be placed under regular Elesa because is the same character, but both are placed in the spot of when the FIRST VERSION of Elesa was released.--Zarxiel94 (talk) 09:25, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- First of all, that's exactly what I meant when I said the Dex order is not strictly about releases, because new sync pairs with a previously used trainer are not placed at the bottom, so thanks for agreeing with that. Secondly, you didn't address any of my other points, which I'm pretty sure are more relevant to the discussion here.
- Basically, what I'm trying to say is, I don't think concerns about aesthetics should come before following the game's own indexing system. Using the sync pair story order is a nice idea, but not for this article. --Neumannz (talk) 14:08, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- Understand... but I'm not sure... I don't like very much the dex order... I think the Sync pair story order is better, is a lot more... ordered. Each position of each character have a reason that anyone can understand. If you think the dex order is better ok, I will accept that, but both dex order and sync pairs order are official orders.

For generation thing you mean add a new collumn with the generation of that character? I don't think is really usefull, is not a direct data about the sync pair or something like that--Zarxiel94 (talk) 14:33, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- Resetting indent the template was actually mainspaced a little prematurely, we do still have some ideas for it that will hopefully clear up some issues and misgivings you've both posted about, I don't have a timeline for completion though. --Spriteit (talk)
On Trainer pages
As a tandem, shouldn’t Sync Pair info be on the Trainer’s page whether their Pokémon has a page or not? It’s a tandem, it’s not like the Trainer sent the Pokêmon to Pasio alone. The Trainer is just as much a part of it as the Pokémon is. A sync pair for these purposes is the equivalent of a party in the games that have them. Or a Ranger’s Partner in those games. Am I wrong?--KnightGalarie (talk) 07:26, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- I agree. Not all Pokémon have their own page (for exemple, don't exist any Phoebe's Dusknoir page), so add that information in the trainer page and (if exist) in the Pokémon page, would be the better choise--Zarxiel94 (talk) 14:36, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- The trainers' pages detail their teams in the main games, there's no reason not to include the Sync Pair info as well. --Neumannz (talk) 15:24, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- I've been in discussion with a few staff members about this, at the moment we really like what our partners at Wikidex are doing with the information on the trainer pages, it does a good job at presenting the majority of the information we want to show. Currently, the information is only displayed on the Pokemon pages such as Whitney's Miltank and Brawly's Hariyama and we're deciding how and how much info we want to share/split between the pages as well as how much info would be relevant and enough that a link to the Main Story chapter pages would be acceptable. It's a WIP that's taken a little longer than expected. Sorry it's taking so long. --Spriteit (talk) 05:39, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- I appreciate the feedback. And I totally get it. While the game is about 9 and a half months old, it’s been doing a lot to shape what it wants to be. Probably a bigger transformation than Go come to think of it. It’s a lot to take in, and with all the information to process, it can be overwhelming. Overwhelming in a way that causes a person to freeze, break down, and reboot to a point that doesn’t have the overwhelming task in front of them, but they can go back to it and start over with a fresh mind later. And sometimes that later can be more significant than anticipated before picking it back up. Also, I should disclose that I kinda dropped the game at the Silver event, and haven’t gone back in quite some time. This might get me some glares, like “Why are you pushing so hard for a game you’re not playing anymore? Do you expect everyone else to do the work for you?” Well, no, not exactly, but I was one of the people who did help furnish the presence of Masters on the pages of the Trainers’ whose partner Pokémon do have pages. That template can be rejiggered for the Trainers in whatever way is seen fit, no matter what pairs get added. That’s a part of the base game I’m familiar with, and can still access the relevant info through the dex even if they’re not scouted (if I remember correctly). I might not be familiar with the new mechanics, but I’m familiar enough with the trainers and their Pokémon to do what I can.--KnightGalarie (talk) 05:58, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Sharpedo image and regular Red
Someone can update Sharpedo image?
And, I'm thinking, since the Red we have is called "Sygna Suit Red" that mean is pretty much confirmed we will get a regular Red too, should I add him in the future Sync Pairs section?--Zarxiel94 (talk) 10:02, 14 June 2020 (UTC)
Lisia
Since this is really odd, I will show here the image so anyone can see where she is officially placed
