Geographically, Mesagoza seems to be based on Toledo or Madrid, two major cities that lie in the geographical center of Spain. However, it appears to draw also inspiration from Barcelona, as the Naranja AcademyS/Uva AcademyV is very similar to the Sagrada Família, and the main entrance of the city is likely to be based on Park Güell. The central plaza is based on Plaza Mayor in Madrid.
