Gliscor (Japanese: グライオン Glion) is a dual-type Ground/Flying Pokémon. It is the evolved form of Gligar.
Biology
Physiology
Gliscor are large, vampire bat-like Pokémon. In evolution, the Gligar's leg-like claws have become more defined as legs, and its tail now has two barbs, as opposed to Gligar's one, giving its tail the resemblance of vampire's fangs. Its arms have also become completely detached from its wings. It has similar looking pincers to Scizor, another Pokémon evolving from a Pokémon of a previous generation. Gliscor's body resembles an open mouth, with the pointed protrusions coming from its torso appearing to be fangs, further illustrating its vampiric qualities.
Gender differences
None.
Special abilities
Gliscor's abilities are the same as Gligar's, except Gliscor's attacks are more powerful and it can now learn the Elemental Fang attacks. As a fully evolved Pokémon, Gliscor can learn Hyper Beam and Giga Impact.
Behavior
Habitat
They are extremely rare, but sometimes are found in thick forests and swamps.

A Gliscor was seen with Ash and co. in a trailer for Giratina and the Sky's Bouquet: Shaymin, previewing the fact that Ash's Gligar would evolve sometime before the movie's premiere.
In DP085 Ash's Gligar evolved into Gliscor to save him after he fell off a cliff.

Trivia
- Before Gliscor and Skorupi were revealed, Gligar was thought, by many fans, to evolve into Drapion.
- Gliscor is one of the few Pokémon who cannot learn STAB attacks naturally, only by TMs.
- Gliscor is lighter than its Template:P2, being only 93.7 lbs while Gligar is 142.9 lbs.
- Gliscor is one of eight non-Bug, Template:Type2 Pokémon that cannot learn Fly.
Origin
Gliscor shares physical traits with flying squirrels, gargoyles, and scorpions.
Name origin
Gliscor's name comes from the words glide and scorpion. Glion's name is derived from the same place, but using "on" instead of "scor".
Its German name, Skorgro, comes from Skorpion and groß. Its French name, Scorvol, comes from scorpion and vol.
