Seaking (Japanese: アズマオウ Azumao; German: Golking; French: Poissoroy; Korean: 왕콘치 Wangkonchi) is a Water-type Pokémon.
Seaking can have one of two Abilities: Swift Swim, which doubles speed when it is raining; or Water Veil, which protects the Pokémon from burns.
Seaking evolves from Goldeen starting at Level 33.

- Pokémon Ruby
- In the autumn, Seaking males can be seen performing courtship dances in riverbeds to woo females. During this season, this Pokémon's body coloration is at its most beautiful.
- Pokémon Emerald
- It punches holes in boulders on stream-beds. This is a clever innovation that prevents its eggs from being attacked or washed away by the current.
- Pokémon FireRed
- The horn on its head is sharp like a drill. It bores a hole in a boulder to make its nest.
Name origin
Seaking's name is simply a combination of sea and king. Its Japanese name may be based on 小豆鱒 azukimasu, rock cod and 魔王 ma-ō, devil king. Interestingly enough, its Japanese name may also be taken to literally mean 東王 azuma-ō, East king. Furthermore, an アズマニシキ azumanishiki is a kind of goldfish.
It may just be based on a goldfish.
"Neptune," the god of the sea of Roman mythology, was Seaking's proto-type name.
