It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon.
Biology
Physiology
Victini is a small, rodent-like Pokémon. Its large, pointed ears are shaped like the letter V, possibly for its name. Its head is comparatively large for its small body, and cream-colored, while the tops of its ears and extremities are all orange. Its arms and legs are rounded to make a sort of "cuff" before ending with small hands and feet. Victini has two tails which appear to be winglike.
Gender differences
Victini are a genderless species.
Special abilities
Victini are said to bring victory to the Trainer that owns it. It produces infinite energy within itself and shares it with others by touching them.
Victini is the only Pokémon that can use the move Ball of Flame, as well as V-Generate.

Trivia
- Victini was first shown in a preview for the 14th Pokémon movie at the end of Ruler of Illusions: Zoroark.
- Victini's number in the Isshu Pokédex is 000, making it the first Pokémon to legitimately have the number 000 in any Pokédex listing.
- Not including Forme Changes, Victini is the only Pokémon to have the type combination of Psychic/Fire.
- Victini is the only legendary Pokémon of a later generation to appear next to legendary Pokémon of an earlier generation in the National Pokédex.
- Victini is the only Pokémon to be listed before the starter Pokémon of its native region.
- Its numbering is also the first instance of a legendary Pokémon being listed first in its region, they are usually the last ones.
Origin
Victini's appearance, especially in its shiny form, seems to be based on うさぎリンゴ usagi-ringo, a method of cutting apple slices to make them look similar to rabbits. Conceptually, it might draw inspiration from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory, or Victoria, the Roman equivalent of Nike.
Name origin
Victini possibly comes from victory, destiny, and teeny.
