Trivia

  • Giima uses a male Zuruzukin upon battling him the first time. It is then replaced with a female Zuruzukin upon battling him a second time.
    • Notably, Sharpedo, who is in Zuruzukin's slot in subsequent battles, is the only male Pokémon on Giima's team, meaning that only the first Pokémon in Giima's party is male while the rest are female.

Names

Language Name Origin
Japanese ギーマ Giima From ギーマ gīma, Vaccinium wrightii. Also from 魔 ma, "devil" or "evil influence".
