Trivia

  • Dangoro is similar to Geodude: Both are Template:Type2, have Sturdy as their ability, evolve at level 25 and reach their final forms when traded.
  • It's interesting to note that there is a Goron from Zelda that is named Dangoro.
  • Also note that Gorons are based on rocks.

Origin

Dangoro is based on a geode.

Name origin

Dangoro may be a combination of 団子 dango, a Japanese dumpling; and ゴロ goro, meaning grounder. It may also come from ゴロゴロ goro goro, the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a boulder or a rock rolling.
