Trivia
- Dokkora is similar to Machop; both are Fighting-type Pokémon with a base stat total of 305 whose first evolution is by level and final evolution is triggered by trading.
- However, Dokkora evolve into Dotekkotsu at level 25, while Machop evolve into Machoke at level 28.
- Dokkora's front and back sprites are holding the plank of wood in opposite hands.
Origin
Dokkora's Pokédex entry supports that it and its evolutions are based on construction workers. Due to its clown nose, it may have also been based on a carnie.
