Trivia
- Morobareru is the fourth Pokémon to resemble a Poké Ball, the others being Voltorb, Electrode and Tamagetake.
- Morobareru and its preevolution Tamagetake share their species name with Paras, Parasect, Shroomish, Breloom. They are all known as Mushroom Pokémon.
- These are also the only Pokémon that can learn Spore via level-up.
- In addition, all of the above Pokémon debut in an odd numbered generation: Paras and Parasect in Generation I, Shroomish and Breloom in Generation III, and Tamagetake and Morobareru in Generation V.
- Morobareru has the highest HP among all Grass- and Poison-type Pokémon.
Origin
It appears to be based on Amanita muscaria or mushrooms of the Agaricus genus, due to it being part-Template:Type2. Its cap and the shield-like arms were designed to look like the front of a Poké Ball.
Name origin
もろ moro "completely" and ばれる bareru "to be found out" or "to come out".
