Battlus (Japanese: バトラス Battlus) is the Mount Battle Master of Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. He can be battled after the player has defeated 99 trainers at Mt. Battle. Just like the Mount Battle Master in Pokémon Colosseum, Somek (who has the same Japanese name as him, and looks nearly the same as him, save for the mustache), he appears as a huge bodybuilder. After his defeat he wants the player character to pick one of the three Johto Starter Pokémon: Chikorita, Cyndaquil or Totodile and he also gives away Mt. Battle Ribbons for the Pokémon used in the fight. His Pokémon team is probably the strongest of the game and all his Pokémon are of level 70.
