Skitty (Japanese: エネコ Eneco) is a Normal-type Pokémon, found on rare occasion along Hoenn's Route 116.

Skitty has the Ability Cute Charm, which has a 30% chance of inflicting an Attract condition on foes using a direct attack on the Pokémon.

Skitty evolves into Delcatty when exposed to a Moon Stone.

Biology

Part of the Ground egg group. This fact has supported the HSOWA joke.

Special abilities

Skitty has the unique ability to wield the Assist attack, which allows Skitty to use a random attack that's known by any other Pokémon on its team.

Behavior

Skitty are fascinated by anything that moves and will chase anything that moves (a personality trait that is found in "real-world" kittens). A Skitty will even chase its own tail.

Habitat

Skitty can be found living in trees in forests.

Skitty is based on a kitten with its tail resembling foxtail grass.

Name origin

Skitty's name is a combination of skittish and kitty. Its Japanese name refers to 狗尾草 enokorogusa, foxtail grass, a type of plant that Skitty's tail resembles, and 猫 neko, cat.
